I just read an article online that states about 85% of people only breathe through one nostril at a time. It also stated that noses go through a “tick-tock” cycle, alternating between left and right nostril use over a period of 2-4 hours. This means that if you stop and consciously check your breathing you will find that one is working more than the other at a given time. I’m no expert but this explains a lot.
